2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference opens. SAIC receives a license for the demonstration operation of intelligent connected vehicles.

At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference unveiled today, SAIC Zhiqi Automobile and SAIC Youdao Zhitu both received the new batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses issued by the Shanghai Municipal Government. SAIC Group thus becomes the only company in the industry to obtain "dual licenses" in the passenger and commercial vehicle sectors. The formal landing of the new batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses will further promote the large-scale commercial application of L4 level autonomous driving technology, and China has taken another positive step in the global competition for commercialization of autonomous driving technology.
