On July 24, 2025, there was an exchange of fire between the military forces of Cambodia and Thailand in border areas such as Oddar Meanchey Province and Preah Vihear Province. The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia has issued a consular reminder. On July 26, there was shelling in the border areas of Pursat Province. We once again remind Chinese citizens in Cambodia, especially those near conflict areas, to closely monitor the local security situation, remain vigilant, strengthen precautions, and avoid traveling to the Cambodian-Thai border areas. Individuals and organizations already in the area should evacuate or relocate to safe areas as soon as possible. In case of emergency, please promptly call the police and seek assistance from the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia.
