Serious violation of duty and suspected of bribery crimes, Yan Bogui has been expelled from the party.

According to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has initiated an investigation into the serious violations of discipline and laws by Yan Bogui, former chief inspector of the Development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Yan Bogui has seriously violated the Party's integrity and living discipline, committed serious official misconduct, and is suspected of accepting bribes. He has not corrected his behavior or stopped his actions since the 18th National Party Congress, with serious nature and detrimental impact, he should be dealt with severely. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Chinese Communist Party Discipline Punishment Regulations", the "People's Republic of China Supervision Law", and the "People's Republic of China Civil Service Regulations", after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, it is decided to expel Yan Bogui from the Party; cancel his retirement benefits as required; confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violating discipline and laws; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organ for investigation and prosecution, with his related assets being transferred accordingly.
