Google (GOOGL.US) has reached a partnership with the Italian energy storage company Energy Dome for carbon-free energy supply.

The Zhitong Finance APP learned that the Italian energy storage company Energy Dome announced on Friday that it has reached a commercial cooperation agreement with Google (GOOGL.US) to provide this American technology giant with zero-carbon energy for its operations. According to the agreement, Google has made a strategic investment in Energy Dome, headquartered in Milan. However, the financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed. This is Google's first commercial-level long-duration energy storage collaboration project, and is also one of the many advanced energy technologies deployed by Google to achieve its goal of using zero-carbon energy around the clock by 2030 in its global operations.
