Rainfall leads to road blockages in parts of Qinghai, the transportation department responds urgently.
According to the Qinghai Provincial Meteorological Bureau, from 8:00 on July 24 to 8:00 on July 25, 773 out of 1190 meteorological observation stations in Qinghai recorded precipitation, with an average daily precipitation of 5.2 millimeters. The highest precipitation was recorded in Ninyou Village, Juzhi Zhiqingsongduo Town, with 65.3 millimeters, while the highest precipitation in urban areas was recorded in Dari, with 25.3 millimeters. The Qinghai Provincial Department of Transportation informed that due to the rainfall, traffic was blocked on the section from Sgu ku to Xin m xing tul ku bridge on the G338 line in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County. Half of the lanes in several sections including the road from Senduo Town to Wenquan Village in Guinan County on the G227 line, the road from Yangqu Village in Xinghai County on the G572 line, and the road from Ganchan kou Village in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County to Xihuatai on the G338 line were open for traffic. Local transportation departments rushed to the scene to ensure traffic flow. As of 10:00 am on the 25th, traffic on the section from Sgu ku to Xin m xing tul ku bridge in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County and the road from Ganchan kou Village in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County to Xihuatai have been restored to normal, while work to clear the remaining sections is ongoing.
