Affected by the cloud system of Typhoon No. 6 and the superposition of Typhoon No. 7 and No. 8, the wind force in the offshore waters of Zhejiang has reached 6-7 levels, with gusts up to level 8, and wave heights of 2 meters. Today, it is expected to strengthen to northeast winds of level 8 with gusts of level 9-10, and wave heights of 3 meters. Currently, coinciding with the astronomical spring tide, the Zhejiang waters may experience a "triple collision" storm surge, which will have a huge impact on navigation conditions. At 9 a.m. this morning, the Zhejiang Maritime Administration raised the emergency response for typhoon prevention in the southern waters of Zhejiang to level three. Currently, 30 passenger routes in Wenzhou and Taizhou have been suspended, all coastal passenger routes have been suspended, and 55 passenger routes in Ningbo and Zhoushan have been suspended. 138 marine construction projects in Zhejiang waters have been suspended, and 284 construction vessels have been evacuated to sheltered waters. In order to carry out effective typhoon prevention work at sea, the Zhejiang Maritime Administration has implemented a 24-hour duty system, focusing on strengthening inspections of anchored vessels, issuing 75,000 warning messages, inspecting 11,000 vessels, and coordinating with the East China Sea Rescue Bureau and the Shanghai Salvage Bureau to station 6 professional rescue vessels and arrange for 151 harbor tugs to be deployed along the coast of Zhejiang. The Zhejiang Maritime Administration reminds passengers with a need to travel at sea during the summer to pay attention to typhoon warning information, plan their trips properly, and ensure their safety during their travels.
