Tianjin will adjust the basic pension for retired personnel and distribute it by the end of this month.

Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and Municipal Finance Bureau issued a notice on the adjustment of basic pensions for retirees in 2025. According to the notice, fixed adjustment: for retirees and former employees of enterprises and public institutions, the monthly increase per person is 31 yuan. Linked adjustment: 1. For retirees and former employees of enterprises and public institutions, and retirees with less than 15 years of contribution, the monthly increase per person is 10.5 yuan; for retirees with 15 years or more of contribution, in addition to the base increase of 10.5 yuan per person per month, for each additional year of contribution above 15 years, the monthly increase per person is 0.7 yuan. 2. Retirees and former employees of enterprises and public institutions will receive a 0.52% increase in basic pension based on their monthly basic pension level at the end of 2024. The increased basic pension will be paid out before July 31st.
