Millennium is reported to have invested $4.2 billion to support two external hedge funds.

According to reports, the hedge fund giant Millennium Management is said to be receiving a total of $4.2 billion in additional investments from two external investment firms. Sources say that Ravi Naresh, who previously managed funds for Marshall Wace, will receive around $3 billion from Millennium to use for his long-short equity strategy. Sources also state that Millennium is set to inject $1.2 billion into Thomas Wong's hedge fund, Optimas Capital Management.
