US Treasury Secretary Bensant believes regional banks have strong competitors for the position of Federal Reserve Chair.

"There are many strong candidates who could replace Jerome Powell as Chair of the Federal Reserve, including several members of the Federal Reserve Board and possibly candidates from regional banks," U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Benet said in an interview with Bloomberg TV, adding that some "outstanding women outside of the Federal Reserve" are also among the candidates.
