According to CCTV news, the world's first ton-level electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft V2000CG Kerry O has officially been delivered after obtaining airworthiness "three certificates". This marks an important progress for China in the low-altitude commercial field of large electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The aircraft obtained a single-airworthiness certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China on July 21, giving it the basic qualification for legal flight and operation. The V2000CG uses pure electric power and unmanned driving technology, with a maximum takeoff weight of 2 tons and a range of 200 kilometers. It has the ability to take off and land vertically and cruise with fixed-wing, and is expected to play an important role in fields such as logistics transportation and emergency rescue.
