Hangzhou's GDP Half-Year Report: Exceeds 1.1 Trillion Yuan, a Year-on-Year Growth of 5.5%

Recently, the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Hangzhou Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics released the economic performance of Hangzhou in the first half of 2025. According to the unified accounting of regional GDP, the city's GDP in the first half of the year was 1.1303 trillion yuan, calculated at constant prices, an increase of 5.5% year-on-year, which is 0.3 percentage points faster than the first quarter. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 15.7 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8%; the value added of the secondary industry was 2.672 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.3%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 8.474 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.7%.
