Although Typhoon "Verpa" has been de-designated, its strong winds and heavy rain continue to affect many areas in southern and coastal regions of China. On the 21st, a landslide occurred on the Fuyang Village to Feiluan Town section of the 104 National Road in Jiaocheng District, Ningde, Fujian Province, causing traffic interruption. Upon receiving the news, multiple departments quickly dispatched rescue teams to the scene. At around 8 am on the 22nd, at the site of the landslide, the rescue task force organized personnel to clear the road, with more than 30 pieces of equipment such as loaders, excavators, and transport vehicles working in coordination. In the core area of the landslide, rescue personnel were manually breaking large rocks. It is understood that the landslide volume is about 11,000 cubic meters, and as of 6 pm on the 22nd, around 3,000 cubic meters of rubble had been cleared, and 1/4 of the lane had been opened for construction vehicles to pass through. Due to the complex geological conditions of the landslide, on-site construction personnel are working in two shifts, continuously working to restore road access as soon as possible.
