The Chinese Embassy in Laos issued a safety advisory on July 22 regarding Typhoon "Wipha" passing through Laos. According to the Laotian meteorological department's forecast, Typhoon "Wipha" is expected to pass through Laos, bringing severe strong winds and heavy rain, resulting in a high risk of geological disasters in Laos, with significantly increased potential for secondary hazards such as landslides and debris flows. The China-Laos railway will suspend passenger trains on the entire line on July 23rd.
