In the second quarter of 2025, the total copper production (including electrolytic copper and copper concentrate containing copper) reached 140,368 tons, an increase of 54% compared to the same period in 2024. This was due to increased production at three copper mines. Among them, Las Bambas achieved the second-highest quarterly production on record, with a copper concentrate containing copper production of 114,909 tons, a year-on-year increase of 64%. The increase in production was mainly due to the improvement in the ore grade to 0.94% and a strong performance with a copper recovery rate of 91.3%. Production at African mines increased compared to the same period last year, with Kinsevere's production increasing by 19% compared to the same period last year, primarily due to the continuous ramp-up of the sulfide production line. Production at Khoemacau increased by 28% year-on-year, mainly benefiting from simultaneous increases in mining and ore processing.
