CMB: Predicts that China's medical expenses will increase to 2.4 trillion US dollars in the next ten years, Gushengtang, Ping An of China, and China Pacific Insurance will benefit.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has released a report stating that with the rapid development of China's aging society trend, it is predicted that medical expenses in China will increase by 1.7 to 2.4 trillion US dollars in the next decade. The report indicates that recent mainland policies encourage the provision of insurance products for the elderly and those with existing health conditions, which will help unlock potential growth opportunities. According to the trend, including traditional Chinese medicine and ophthalmology, China's healthcare service market will continue to expand. Although there has been a period of low demand in the past, the bank expects a recovery to begin this year. The banks believe that the main beneficiaries of these trends include Gufengtang, Ping An of China, and China Pacific Insurance.
