Today, the Ministry of Water Resources held consultations to analyze the national rainfall situation. From 8:00 on July 21 to 8:00 on July 22, due to the impact of precipitation, a total of 47 rivers including the main stream and tributaries of the Hun River in Jilin, Daluoquan River, Weisha River, Guosongchuan River, the Ai River (a tributary of the Yalu River) in Liaoning, and the Beidashe River (a downstream tributary of the Yellow River) in Shandong experienced flooding beyond the warning level. The maximum exceeding level was 2.62 meters. Among them, 6 small to medium rivers in Jilin, such as Daluoquan River, Weisha River, and Guosongchuan River, exceeded the protection level by 0.07 to 0.45 meters. Daluoquan River experienced the largest flood since 1972. Additionally, due to high temperature melting snow, the Alar River section of the Tarim River in Xinjiang experienced flooding exceeding the warning flow rate. The Ministry of Water Resources has issued "one province, one alert" targeted warnings to Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, and 10 other provinces, reminding them to be prepared for floods and debris flow disasters in small to medium rivers, as well as reservoir safety during flood season.
