China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd.: CIMC Enric aims to achieve a total production capacity of 1 million tons of LNG and 200,000 tons of hydrogen gas by 2027.
On July 22, CIMC Group announced on its interactive platform that CIMC Enric's first coke oven gas-to-hydrogen co-production LNG project, the Anji project, officially started production in September 2024 and achieved profitability in its first year of operation. This business model is also being further replicated and promoted, as the Lingang project has completed equipment installation and is beginning single-machine commissioning, and is set to start production soon. The Shougang Shuigang project is progressing well in construction and is expected to start production in early 2026. In the future, CIMC Enric will continue to actively cooperate with large steel companies, aiming to achieve a total production capacity of 1 million tons of LNG and 200,000 tons of hydrogen by 2027.
