The main data on judicial trial work in the first half of 2025 released by the Supreme People's Court on July 21st shows that in the first half of the year, the people's court accepted 97,000 first-instance cases related to companies, a year-on-year increase of 78.42%. The people's court solidly carried out special actions to regulate law enforcement and justice involving enterprises, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of various types of business entities equally in accordance with the law. In response to prominent problems such as low quality of internal governance in companies and the prevalence of "chain litigation" in the trial of company-related disputes, the Supreme People's Court summarized its trial experience, accelerated the formulation of judicial interpretations related to company-related disputes and the implementation of complementary company laws, and strengthened the supply of judicial rules.
