Castle Securities calls on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to handle tokenization with caution.

Castle Securities hopes that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will slow down its progress in allowing the development of "tokenized" securities. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins recently stated that they are simplifying traditional securities rules to facilitate the issuance of tokenized securities by companies. In a comment letter sent to the SEC's cryptocurrency working group on Monday, Castle Securities pointed out that this could confuse investors and create an unfair competitive environment for exchanges and listed companies.
