The US tariff deadline is approaching on August 1st, while South Korea's exports in the first 20 days of July still increased by 4.1%.
The Zhitong Finance APP noted that South Korea's exports maintained growth momentum in the first 20 days of July, reflecting the resilience of this trade-dependent economy in reaching an agreement with the United States before the comprehensive tariffs were imposed on August 1. Data released by the South Korean customs on Monday showed that the export value, adjusted for working day differences, increased by 4.1% year-on-year, slowing down from the 6.8% growth for the entire month of June.
