Today, the National Security Department released an article advising people to be vigilant against "invisible theft channels." Some chips, smart devices, or software produced overseas may have intentionally embedded "backdoors" during the design and manufacturing stages. Manufacturers can remotely control devices through specific signals, such as automatically turning on the camera or microphone, or commanding the background to automatically collect specified data and send it back.
