Yu Chengdong: The Huawei M8 has pioneered the CPM collision unlocking redundant module to reduce the risk of being unable to unlock the car door in extreme scenarios.
On July 17th, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of the Terminal BG, Yu Chengdong, stated that the Huawei Mate 8 is equipped with a unique CPM collision unlock redundancy module in addition to the conventional unlocking system for collision scenarios. This module integrates collision signal receivers, power sources, and control drivers, while also setting up a safety line to reduce the risk of being unable to unlock the door in extreme scenarios. According to Yu Chengdong, this module has undergone 500,000 charge-discharge experiments and can operate stably in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius, with a cost that is close to three times that of industry solutions.
