The first joint innovation center for smart industries with physical presence in China officially launched in Bao'an, Shenzhen.
On the 15th, Bao'an District of Shenzhen announced that China's first tangible intelligent industry joint innovation center - Huawei Cloud Intelligent Industry Joint Innovation Center has been put into use in the district. It is understood that in March of this year, Shenzhen issued the "Shenzhen Tangible Intelligent Robot Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Action Plan" aimed at seizing the strategic opportunity of global artificial intelligence and robot technology integration development, accelerating the construction of a tangible intelligent robot industry innovation ecosystem, promoting the high-quality leapfrog development of the tangible intelligent robot industry, accelerating the construction of an international leading tangible intelligent robot industry agglomeration area, and accelerating the establishment of an industry technological innovation center with global importance. Bao'an District, as an industrial powerhouse in Shenzhen, also regards tangible intelligence as an important key driver for promoting industrial upgrading. Earlier this year, the "Action Plan for Creating an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Agglomeration Area in Bao'an District" was introduced, with plans to foster 3 to 5 industry leaders by 2026, build more than 50 deep application scenarios, and drive the scale of the artificial intelligence industry to exceed 55 billion RMB. Data shows that the tangible intelligence-related industry cluster in Bao'an District has a strong foundation: there are 424 artificial intelligence companies, 241 key robot sector companies, and 215 key smart sensor sector companies. Huawei's increased layout of tangible intelligence in Shenzhen this time has attracted high market attention and is seen as a key move for Huawei in the "ecosystem empowerment" model in the tangible intelligence field.
