On July 14th, Wang Zhonglin, the Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, met with Li Shufu, the Chairman of Geely Holding Group, and the actual controller of Malaysia's Diversified Heavy Industries Group, Sai Moda, in Wuhan. Wang Zhonglin said he hopes that Geely Holding Group and Diversified Heavy Industries Group will continue to deepen their presence in Hubei, increase their investments and strategic layouts in projects in Hubei, promote the efficiency of enterprises in Hubei, further strengthen technological innovation, build brand advantages, and provide important support for consolidating the foundation of the trillion-level automobile industry cluster in Hubei and overall enhancing the industrial competitiveness of Hubei. We will create a first-class business environment, provide better services and create better conditions for business development in Hubei. Li Shufu introduced the overall operation of Geely Holding Group and the development of enterprises in Hubei. He stated that the development trend in Hubei is good, with outstanding advantages in the automobile industry and supporting industries.
