Mexico initiates anti-dumping sunset review on U.S. liquid caustic soda

On July 11, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced that it has initiated the sixth sunset review investigation on anti-dumping duties on liquid caustic soda originating from the United States. The dumping investigation period is from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2025. The TIGIE tax code for the products involved is 2815.12.01. During the investigation period, the current anti-dumping duties remain in effect. The announcement will come into effect the day after it is published.
