Former president of Golden Cup Electrician Tang Chongjian suddenly passed away due to a sudden illness, at the age of 60.

On July 12th, the Hunan Province Wire and Cable Industry Association issued an obituary: Mr. Tang Chongjian, a senior expert in the Chinese cable industry, a well-known entrepreneur, and the chairman of Yangzhou Wanyi High Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 60 due to sudden illness. The obituary mentioned that Mr. Tang Chongjian has held various positions in companies such as Baosheng Technology Innovation Co., Ltd., Jinbei Electric Co., Ltd., Shanghai Morn Electric Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Zonglan Cable Group Co., Ltd. He also served as the first chairman of the Hunan Province Wire and Cable Industry Association and a member of the National Wire and Cable Standardization Technical Committee. In 2023, he founded Yangzhou Wanyi High Polymer Materials Co., Ltd.
