On Friday, New York spot gold rose by 1.01% to $3358.21 per ounce in the closing session, with an intraday trading range of $3322.03-3368.73. COMEX gold futures also rose by 1.41% to $3372.70 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up by 1.52%. Spot silver rose by 3.86% to $38.426 per ounce, with an intraday trading range of $36.915-38.539. COMEX silver futures rose by 4.79% to $39.093 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.15% to $5.5825 per pound.
