On Friday, during the New York session, spot gold rose by 1.01% to $3358.21 per ounce, with a trading range of $3322.03-$3368.73 per ounce. COMEX gold futures also rose by 1.41% to $3372.70 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up by 1.52%. Spot silver rose by 3.86% to $38.426 per ounce, with a trading range of $36.915-$38.539 per ounce. COMEX silver futures rose by 4.79% to $39.093 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.15% to $5.5825 per pound.
