GAC Group: expected net loss of 1.82 billion to 2.6 billion yuan in the first half of the year

Guangzhou Automobile Group announced that it is expected to have a net loss attributable to the owners of the parent company of 1.82 billion to 2.6 billion yuan in the first half of 2025, compared to a profit of 1.516 billion yuan in the same period last year. The company experienced a loss in this period due to factors such as lower-than-expected sales of new energy vehicles, declining revenue due to price wars, structural mismatch of sales channels, the need for more time for the reform of self-owned brands to take effect, and weak foundation in overseas markets.
