These scalpers are suspected of illegally producing Disney hotel room cards and deceiving early-bird cardholders to enter Disneyland. On July 11, a reporter from Peking East China Financial sought confirmation from the relevant department in Pudong New Area, and the department confirmed that the incident was indeed under investigation. Prior to this, Shanghai Disney Resort announced that, in view of the current inventory level situation and to protect the experience of all visitors, starting from July 11, 2025, the "2025 Duffy and Friends Summer Ocean Party Series" will not be obtained through a draw for purchasing quotas in the selected merchandise stores inside Shanghai Disneyland or sold in the resort hotel retail stores. The remaining inventory of this summer series will be transferred to the official flagship store of Shanghai Disneyland on Tmall for visitors to purchase online.
