In the first half of this year, China's excavator sales exceeded expectations. According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, from January to June, a total of 120,520 excavators were sold in China, an increase of 16.8% compared to the same period last year. Of these, 65,637 were sold domestically, an increase of 22.9%, while 54,883 were exported, an increase of 10.2%. A research report released by Xiangcai Securities stated that domestic sales of excavators in China rebounded in June after a brief decline in May. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, with the acceleration of the sale of used equipment for export and policy-driven demand, the demand for new equipment is expected to continue to increase, supporting the growth of domestic excavator sales. In terms of exports, the growth rate of excavator exports in June also increased significantly compared to May, and with the improvement in overseas market demand combined with a low base, the export volume of excavators is also expected to continue to grow. This year, top engineering machinery companies such as Sany Heavy Industry, XCMG, Zoomlion, and Liugong have continued to see steady growth in overseas markets, with overseas sales accounting for close to or exceeding 50%. The recovery in the Chinese market is gradually spreading from the excavator sector to non-excavating equipment segments. Top engineering machinery companies are generally becoming more "optimistic", and while the domestic market is steadily warming up, it is expected that the overseas market will continue to maintain a good momentum.
