On that day, workers from China Railway 14th Bureau installed the first beam with a length of 24.6 meters and a weight of 542 tons on the first pier of Chenjiagou Bridge in the Chongqing section of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway, marking the official start of the beam installation work in the Chongqing section of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway. The Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway is a high-speed railway from Xi'an to Chongqing, with a total length of 739 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network and the Beijing-Kunming corridor and Bohai corridor.
