Yang Guangzhi, the former party secretary and director of the Management Committee of Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone in Dalian, Liaoning Province, has been expelled from the party.

According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, the Liaoning Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision recently announced that, with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, an investigation has been launched into serious violations of discipline and laws by Yang Guangzhi, former Party Secretary and Director of the Management Committee of the Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone in Liaoning Province.
