On July 9, market research firm IDC released data from the Global Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker Report for the second quarter of 2025. Global personal computer shipments in the second quarter reached 68.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. Lenovo's market share was 24.8%, an increase of nearly 2 percentage points from the same period last year, maintaining its position as the world's number one in the PC market. At the same time, shipments reached 16.97 million units, an increase of 15.2% from the second quarter of last year. HP and Dell ranked second and third, with market shares of 20.7% and 14.3%, and shipments of 14.1 million units and 9.8 million units, respectively. Their year-on-year growth rates were 3.2% and -3%, respectively.
