National Bureau of Statistics: In June, the policies of expanding domestic demand and promoting consumption continued to show results.
The resident consumer price index increased by 0.1% year-on-year from last month's decrease; it decreased by 0.1% month-on-month, narrowing the decline by 0.1 percentage points compared to last month. The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, continued to rise by 0.7% year-on-year. The industrial producer price index fell by 0.4% month-on-month, with the same decline as last month, and decreased by 3.6% year-on-year, expanding by 0.3 percentage points compared to last month.
