The BRICS Leaders' Summit was held in Brazil.

On the morning of July 6th, local time, the 17th BRICS leaders' summit, which lasted for two days, opened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The theme of this summit is "Strengthening Global South Cooperation, Promoting More Inclusive and Sustainable Global Governance", focusing on six major topics including global health, trade and investment, climate change, governance of artificial intelligence, reform of global security architecture, and the development of the BRICS mechanism itself.
