In the first half of this year, the China-Laos railway achieved remarkable results in passenger and freight transportation: a total of 10.07 million passengers were transported, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year; the total volume of goods transported exceeded 12.6 million tons, an increase of 25.9% year-on-year. This "golden passage" crossing mountains and rivers is driving strong two-way flow, effectively supporting the high-quality development of the regional economy, and becoming an important bridge and link for deepening connectivity between China and ASEAN countries. However, to transform its potential into a broader and deeper "golden effect," continuous efforts and meticulous work are still required.
