The National Security Department released a case: In order to promote seaside housing and tourism projects, a merchant conducted multiple live streaming activities on a short video platform. Due to a lack of understanding of the confidential situation in the surrounding sea areas and a weak awareness of confidentiality, the merchant actually used our key military sea areas as the background for the live broadcasts, showing real-time footage of our key military port situation. Within two and a half months, the merchant had live streamed dozens of times, each time lasting for several hours, leading to the continuous exposure of the dynamics of some military ships anchoring and entering and exiting the port. Upon receiving reports from the public, the local national security agency immediately took action, identifying and stopping the merchant involved in the incident, ordering the deletion of previous live broadcast videos, and legally handling the relevant personnel. Afterwards, the national security agency, together with relevant departments, conducted a special inspection on the security and confidentiality risks around the military port, ordering the prominently display of warning signs such as "no filming, no photography" and "no flying drones" in areas such as hotels, homestays, residences, and observation platforms facing the sea in the vicinity of the military port, fulfilling the obligation to remind and inform residents, tourists, etc., and promptly eliminate significant risks and hazards to military security.
