The 20th meeting of the subcommittee on environmental cooperation of the China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting Committee was held in Tianjin.

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced that on July 3, the 20th meeting of the Environmental Protection Cooperation Sub-Committee of the China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting Committee was held in Tianjin. The meeting listened to the work reports of the Pollution Prevention and Control and Environmental Emergency Contact Working Group, the Environmental Impact Assessment Expert Group, the Transboundary Water Quality Monitoring and Protection Working Group, the Transboundary Protected Areas and Biodiversity Conservation Working Group, and the Solid Waste Management Cooperation Working Group, deliberated and approved the work plans of each working group for the years 2025-2026. Both sides positively evaluated the cooperation in the field of environmental protection between China and Russia over the past year, as well as the achievements of the various working groups and expert groups of the Sub-Committee.
