On Friday, spot gold ultimately rose by 0.33%, to $3337.15 per ounce, accumulating a 1.92% increase for the week. It continued to rise steadily on Monday and Tuesday, and fluctuated at high levels from Wednesday to Friday. In the early Asia-Pacific session on Thursday, it reached $3365.80, but significantly dropped when the US non-farm payroll report was released later that day.
