Report: By 2030, the contribution of green finance to China's GDP will rise to 4.01%.

The Green Finance Reform and Innovation Exchange Conference was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang on the 4th. The "Green Finance Development Research Report 2025" released at the meeting shows that by 2030, the contribution of green finance to China's GDP will rise to 4.01%. The report shows that in 2024, China's green finance directly created a GDP of 3.26 trillion yuan, with a direct contribution rate to GDP of 2.41% and an indirect boost to GDP reaching 20.74 trillion yuan. The report predicts that by 2025, with strong policy support, China's green loan balance will exceed 50 trillion yuan; by 2030, the green loan balance will reach 197.64 trillion yuan, with a direct contribution rate to GDP rising to 4.01% and directly creating a GDP of 7.2 trillion yuan.
