Journalists have learned that recently, the official Xiao Hong Shu (Little Red Book) has opened a long-form content function for internal testing, and selectively invited some creators to apply for access. Through testing, journalists found that the long-form content titles are limited to 20 characters, the body can contain over a thousand characters, and supports the insertion of images or emojis, with a one-click formatting function. After clicking on "one-click formatting", the long-form content will be automatically divided and presented in image form. This feature also supports AI-generated cover images and article summaries, with 6 formatting templates provided in the backend for creators to choose from, and further adjust the theme colors, cover images, titles, and summaries, with real-time preview effects. After publishing the long-form content, users can still swipe right to read images, consistent with the current way of viewing text and images.
