Vietnam makes final ruling on sunset review of anti-dumping investigation on Chinese MSG, deciding to continue imposing anti-dumping tax for a further five years.
On July 2, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued a notice, making a positive final ruling on the first sunset review of anti-dumping measures on monosodium glutamate originating from China and Indonesia. It decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products in question for a period of five years, with rates of 3,396,156 to 6,385,289 Vietnamese dong per ton for China and 5,289,439 Vietnamese dong per ton for Indonesia. The measures will take effect from July 23, 2025, and will be valid until July 22, 2030.
