A senior executive at Citigroup revealed that despite the UK increasing taxes on the wealthy, it still attracts attention from affluent clients who are disappointed in the United States. "For clients both inside and outside the UK, this is a two-way flow," said Andy Sieg, global wealth manager at Citigroup. He added that while some people are leaving the UK, others are "looking at the United States and the changes happening there and thinking that the UK might be a place where their children may want to go to university and where they would be willing to spend more time."
