The Canadian Air Traffic Management Agency said that several major airports in the country experienced flight delays or cancellations due to bomb threats. "Earlier this morning, the Canadian Aviation Authority received notifications that airport facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Vancouver were affected by bomb threats," the agency said in a statement posted on X. "The safety of airport staff at the affected airports is not compromised, and temporary ground stop measures have been implemented."
