Strategist: The Federal Reserve will not cut interest rates until the end of 2025.

Simah Shah, strategist at XinAn Asset Management, wrote that after today's non-farm payroll report, she believes that the Federal Reserve will not cut interest rates until the end of 2025. "Some Fed officials have already indicated that they are leaning towards cutting rates as early as this month. Today's data shows that the employment numbers were higher than expected, the unemployment rate decreased, and initial jobless claims decreased. This completely eliminates their rationale for an imminent rate cut, and suggests that the Fed does not see an urgency to provide supportive policy."
