The Ministry of Natural Resources has initiated a Level IV response to geological disaster prevention in Gansu Province.

According to the meteorological department forecast, in the next three days, some areas in the eastern part of Gansu will experience moderate to heavy rain, with locally heavy to severe rain. The Geological Disaster Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources has assessed that there is a high risk of geological disasters in some areas in the southeast of Gansu. In accordance with the "Work Plan for Geological Disaster Prevention and Response of the Ministry of Natural Resources," the Ministry of Natural Resources has decided to initiate a Level IV response to geological disaster prevention at 18:00 on July 3rd.
