The European Union will issue guidelines and regulations on artificial intelligence by the end of the year.
The European Commission said on Thursday that guidance to help thousands of companies comply with the EU's landmark artificial intelligence regulations may be released by the end of this year, meaning the guidance will be delayed by 6 months. A spokesperson for the European Commission said, "Regarding the GPAI rules on artificial intelligence, the European AI Committee is discussing the timing for implementing the code of conduct, considering the end of 2025."
