The Office of the Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters of Gansu Province has initiated a Level III emergency response for flood control and anti-flooding.

From July 2nd to 3rd, there was heavy rainfall in Longnan City, Tianshui City, Pingliang City, and Qingyang City, with local heavy rain in Longnan City. Currently, the heavy rainfall is still ongoing. According to the "Emergency Response Plan for Flood Control and Drought Relief in Gansu Province," after consultation and assessment, the Gansu Province Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Office decided to activate the provincial-level flood control and disaster relief Level 3 emergency response at 11:00 on July 3rd.
