France prohibits children aged zero to three years old from having screen time in daycare centers.
The French Ministry of Labor, Health, Solidarity, and Family Affairs announced on its official website on the 2nd that children aged 0 to 3 are prohibited from using screens in childcare facilities in order to protect their health and development. The official announcement on the ministry's website stated that numerous studies have warned of the risks of early screen exposure, including sleep disorders, vision problems, hindered cognitive and emotional development, and reduced social interaction. These risks are particularly significant during the first 1000 days after a baby's birth, which is a critical period for their development.
